New York: Frederick Fell, Inc, 1952. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 8vo., 351pp. Beautiful Stated First Printing of this anthology of five novels from Walter M. Miller, Eric Frank Russell, Poul Anderson, Frank Robinson, Arthur C. Clarke. Bound in woven blue cloth with titles in gilt on front board and spine. Square and tight with just a touch of wear at the spine ends but quite minor, Mild off-setting to end-papers. Spine gilt slightly dulled. Very attractive unclipped dust-jacket, ($3.50), has a small chip to the crown and some mild wear to edges and tips. Light soiling to rear panel but fresh and bright with no creases or tears. A very pretty collectable copy of one of the more uncommon Gnome Press titles.
