[Timbuktu], 1998. Four yellow sheets [28 cm x 22 cm] / [11" x 8.5"] with three punched holes at left margin. Manuscript notes and drawings to rectos. A group of notes and doodles from the artist and director, Trent Harris, when he travelled through Timbuktu during January of 1998. Trent Harris has directed nine feature films and scores of documentaries and experimental pieces. To date he has been honored with retrospectives at: Raindance Film Festival (London), 92 Y Tribeca (New York), BUTT Film Festival (The Netherlands), Utah Museum of Contemporary Art (Salt Lake City), Mar del Plata International Film Festival (Argentina).
