Two-sided autographed letter from Eden Phillpotts, dated Torquay, 25 ?Sept 1929, addressed to Miss Scanlan, a little tanned else in very good condition, folded in four and carefully tipped onto the front pastedown. The book has tanned pages and owner's name on front endpaper, hinges a little slack, else internally in good condition, cover very heavily marked with old damp stains, backstrip is only attached at the front hinge..
