A well-illustrated history of Yellow Springs, Pa., from its use as a medicinal spring in colonial Pennsylvania; a hospital for revolutionary troops during the American Revolution; a spa after the war; the Chester Springs Soldiers' Orphan School, established during the Civil War; the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts Country School, established in 1917; to the film company Good News Productions, established in 1952. Finally, in the 1970s, Historic Yellow Springs assumed the work of preserving all the aspects of the village's interesting history and encouraging continuing work in the visual and performing arts. In Fine Condition: clean and tight.
