Softcovers, bound in stapled stiff brown paper wraps with a vignette of a book in gilt on the front cover. The left edge of the front cover is slightly faded and the bottom right corner of the front cover is creased. 6 leaves, printed in 2 colors and illustrated with a wood-engraved plate in three colors by Bernard Brussel-Smith. Very good.
Bernard Brussel-Smith's wood engraving powerfully illustrates the quote from "Exodus xxiv, 12" printed on the following page: "And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayes teach them."
