Sobre este artículo

This Book is in Good Condition. Ex-Library, a Library of Congress Surplus Duplicate, but with almost no Library Markings (as typical of Library of Congress books) and No Exterior Library Markings, just Library Stamps on the Front End and Copyright Pages. The Dust Jacket has Light Tanning/Soiling Discoloration to the Surface (noticeable as the Dust Jacket is white) and Light Crinkling to the Edges, particularly at the Head and Base of the Spine but No Tears, Stains, or Other Major Damage. The Hardcover Boards have Light Rubbing along the Edges and a Small, Light Bump at the Base of the Spine which has caused a Small, Light Crease but No Tears, Stains, or Other Major Damage. The Binding is Strong, Intact, and Undamaged. The Interior is Clean and Unmarked (other than the aforementioned Library Stamps) with No Writing, Highlighting, or Underlining and has No Tears, Creases, Stains, Mold, or Any Major Damage. The Page Edges have No Remainder Mark, Foxing, Stains, or Any Major Damage. Book Description: In studying the American exodus from California once gold had been discovered in Australia, the authors look at the reaction to the news of the Australian discoveries, trying to ascertain how many and who came, and with what objectives. Were they Americans, Yankees, or Californians; advocates of self-government? How were they received? What was their wider impact? Did Australia suit them? How many stayed?
