Sobre este artículo
London: Cassell & Co. 2nd Edition . Good/No Jacket. Red cloth boards with gilt title to front board and spine, floral decoration in blue and black. 152 pp plus 4pp publishers' list. B&w frontispiece shows aborigine hunters ambushing a horse. Ripping yarn set in the Australian bush. No date but neat ink (crossed out ) name is dated 1884, followed by an inscription dated 1891, as the book was evidently passed on to another family member. Many b&w illustrations, as well as chapter headers. Victorian attitudes to the indigenous population. Tissue guard to frontispiece foxed; very occasional very light foxing to a few pages; spine gilt faded and ends of spine bumped and worn. A good tight copy.
