London: W. & R. Chambers, Limited, 1900. Decorative Cloth. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Walter S. Stacey. Not dated, c.1891-1900. Size 12mo, 7.25" tall, 282 pages. Blue cloth decorated with gilt and black titles on the front cover and a red, green, gilt and black illustration of a ranchman having an encounter with a native American. Gilt and black titles to the spine and also on the spine in red another illustration of the ranchman. Floral patterned paste-downs and end-papers, same illustration as the front cover is also a tissue-guarded frontispiece illustration. Condition good, hinges and spine ends rubbed, hinges loose, covers a little rubbed and dust darkened, pages are toned otherwise contents are clean. With many illustrations, full and quarter/third page by Walter S. Stacey. Children's Fiction set in the Canadian West.
