Sobre este artículo
New York, NY: The Viking Press, 1965 The Viking Press, New York. 1965. Hardcover. First Edition. Book is tight, square, and unmarked. Book Condition: Very Good +; light shelfwear to board edges and spine. DJ: Very Good; NOT Price Clipped ($4.50); slight chipping to head and tail; light shelfwear to tips; light rubbing to panels. Black paper over boards with white linen overlay on the spine with Orange and black lettering on the spine. 214 pp 8vo. This book is a spoof of the present-day efforts to thaw the Cold War through what is called "cultural exchange." Elena is a young post-war Russian woman who meets Jack Spade in his Coffee-House. Spade wrote a book that is very popular in Russia about the utter depravity of English life. They are drawn together and Jack is looking for a casual affair and she is oblivious to that. The author then takes the couple through a maze of courting rituals that picture the condition today. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.

Sobre Walnut Valley Books/Books by White
Walnut Valley Books is a small independent home-based business with the bulk of my holdings being of an American military nature covering everything from the Revolutionary War to the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. I also have holdings of books on the Middle East, the southwestern United States (New Mexico especially, Kansas related titles, Oklahoma related titles, and other regionally specialized books. All of my holdings are hand-selected to be good quality books of interest to the reader, historian, or the collector. In addition to the above, you will also find a wide range of other topics such as Medical, US History, autobiographical, biographical, sports, women's studies, and many other eclectic topics.
