Sex education with the objective ''to create a better understanding of marriage relationships and its many sexual problems... saving trouble, discomfort, and even suffering, of my fellowmen and sisters.'' Covers a variety of topics, including explanations of reproduction, menstruation, menopause, sex in marriage (with questions of libido and frequency), sexual technique, orgasm, hygiene, masturbation, coitus during menstruation and pregnancy, sterilization and birth control, venereal disease, nudism, and homosexuality. The author, Mrs. Jardine McCree, a likely pseudonym, appears to have operated out of California, and toured the country as a lecturer on sex education between 1932 and 1955. Most of her appearances were in burlesque theatres, often to gender-segregated audiences, and her talks accompanied exploitation films with titles like ''Sins of Desire,'' ''Mated,'' ''Facts of Life,'' Ten Days in a Nudist Camp,'' and ''Good Time Girls,'' and in 1955 she gave lectures titled ''A Woman's Retort to the Kinsey Report.'' In the 1950's in California, newspaper advertisements began referring to her as "Helene Jardine McCree.
