Besides high-quality illustrations, the catalogue presents a lengthy biography interspersed with numerous photos. There are also tributes from friends, such as Tomás Llorens and Yves Bonnefoy, as well as excerpts from earlier texts by Henri Michaux, René Char, François Cheng, Claude Roy, Pierre Daix, Jean Leymarie, Pierre Schneider, and others. Texts in French, English, and Spanish.
A valuable reference work on Zao Wou-ki, especially useful for the extensive biography. Scarce in commerce.
