Textblock bound in at an angle (binding is square) else fine in near fine dust jacket with a coule of nicks and tiny tears. Inscribed to former U.S. Poet Laureate Dan Hoffman on the title page: "to the poet Dan Hoffman - from James Dickey," and with a couple of stanzas marginally bracketed in (easily erasable) pencil, almost certainly by Hoffman. Review copy with the slip laid in.
