I have been a quilting teacher for many years and this is the book I use in my classes. It is the only comprehensive book about techniques and about all the tips and tricks you need to know to be a successful quilter. One of my classes is called "Thread Fun" and every technique I teach in that six hour class is in here along with advice about atabilizers, thread choice, how to buy a sewing machine, tension, etc. I thought I would have to write my own book until I found this one!
