New York: Viking Press, 1949. Hardcover. Very Good. First American edition. Spine and edges of the boards slightly faded, one corner roughly bumped, very good lacking the dustwrapper. Signed by the author on a tipped-in front fly, apparently an issue used by the publisher in promotion.

Showing its age but still VG. The pages are toned cheap post-war paper and the DJ shows handling wear and little chips at the spine ends. Overall it's not bad and is now protected in a Mylar cover.
