Later while still in his early twenties he held the rank of colonel, first on one side and then on the other in the Chinese Revolution. But when his brother was arrested on a charge which he believed unjustified, he found the contstraints of Communism too great and made a hazardous journey to Tibet...Pp.281, 17 black & white photos + 2 maps and maps to endpapers, inscribed by the author "Douglas - apart from your present eminence - the very best radio producer I have ever encountered.
