Slight shelfwear to the base edge, and the top third of the front free end page has been carefully cut out to remove an ownership inscription. Each chapter explores the variations both in flavouring ingredients and in cooking methods, from the simple to the elaborate and the step-by-step instructions are clear and easy to follow, and remove much of the mystery that has always surrounded Chinese food.
