Bound in original red cloth boards with title in white to the spine. The binding is square and tight and in excellent condition, free from marks or blemishes, with just a touch of bumping and darkening to the edges. Inside, the pages are clean and bright with a little light toning.
This smart book is housed in its original, first issue, dust jacket. It is vibrant and bright with no marks or damage and just a slight hint of bumping to the spine ends.
In all, this is a very smart, collectible, example of Alan Bleasdale's first novel, based upon the stories he originally wrote to entertain his secondary students in the school where he taught for four years.
