True Jurassic Park’s first edition was published by the Franklin Library as a signed first edition in 1990. It was 400 pages long, bound in charcoal leather binding, stamped in gilt, with publisher's single page prospectus. In November 1990, Alfred A. Knopf published a trade edition with blue paper-covered boards over blue spine cloth stamped in gilt and a dinosaur skeleton illustrated on the dust jacket.

It runs to 399 pages, which of the two Trade first editions, is the more uncommon printing. Though this is not the true first printing, the scarcity of this print run make this a must for collectors. If you're looking for rare, there're far less of these available than the true first or the trade first. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall.
