This is a 1979 revised edition of the original 1948 biography. With 192 illustrations. Includes the original 1946 forward by Alvar Aalto, a 1972 preface by author Albert Christ-Janer, and a 1979 note by his wife Virginia Christ-Janer describing "delays too numerous to mention" leading up to the publication of the revised edition (Albert Christ-Janer died in 1973).This book is in good condition except for minor page wave at the lower right of the first 50 pages (no staining though) and foxing along the page edges.Because of book size and weight, non-U.S. overseas shipping may be higher than generated at checkout.
