The brown covers are fresh, with just a hint of wear at tips and corners. The silver gilt spine lettering is still shiny. The dust jacket is not price-clipped, and is also in excellent condition, with no wear or damage. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: "Keith Calder returns home from a tour of France with an accumulation of vintage guns -- including a pair of duelling pistols found in a bricked-up barn. He is not long home when it becomes clear that some item in the collection has aroused fierce competition.
