NY: Delta, 1981. First thus. Softcover. Very good. First Delta paperback edition, following the 1973 Simon and Schuster first. Scarce signed in this edition. An association copy: This was one of Harrison's personal copies, sent to novelist and memoirist Kaylie Jones (daughter of National Book Award--winning novelist James Jones and actress Gloria Jones). Harrison has sketched his patented one-eyed face on the half-title page and in a dialogue bubble the inscription reads: "Kaylie, this is a wretched, unhappy book, Jim." Not actually the case--it's a fun, fairly riveting, drug-filled story that travels from Key West to Idaho for some dramatic monkeywrenching. A very good plus paperback with some light wear, handling, and toning.  One crease across lower rear wrap. A nice find for the complete Harrison collector. A photocopy of a letter from Harrison conveying the book will be included. .
