Second Saladin Mass market paperbound - 1984

At first glance this book doesn't seem too badly worn, with some mild spine creases, a bent corner on the back cover, and a couple of bumped corners. But then there is the big dent in the front cover, best seen in photo #4. About the size of my thumb, this dent must be the result of something very heavy sitting on the book for a fairly long time. There are also some circles embossed on the front cover, also an artifact of having been underneath something heavy. Finally, the outer edge of the first 50 pages has a bit of waviness indicating that it was at one time exposed to a small amount of water. Impacts about an 8 cm wide area of those pages and penetrates to no more than 4 cm into the pages. In spite of all that, the pages remain tight and unmarked, and are still quite readable, to which I can attest having taken time to read this one.
