Boards are wire-bound and the previous owner reinforced the binding on the inside covers with thin black cloth tape( actually a nice job) and has kept this First Edition intact and whole. Top edge of spine has minor closed tears. See photos to come. Inside front cover has notation in top left corner - C. S. McKenzie, Design Section, Special Military Vehicles. All pages are clean and unmarked. Loads with diagrams, formulas and graphs. 155 pages, 131 illustrations in 5 sections with each section having several page tabs. With 4 appendices and a reference section/bibliography that is priceless by itself. This was the state of the art in 1953 and the principles are still in use today.
