The dustjacket shows wear around the margins and the corners are bumped. There are 2 small tears (largest 2cm) at the crown of the spine and one small tear at the top margin of the back. The dustjacket is not price-clipped. The black covers are in good condition with the title in gilt lettering on the spine. There is minimal shelf wear. The text is very clean with minimal ageing of the pages. There are no annotations to the text. The numerous excellent illustrations are in very good condition.
