UK,slim Qrto HB minus dw/dj,1st edn.[An omnibus edn of the earlier separate 'Pussy' and 'Puppy' (both 1970) rhyme collections.FINE.No owner inscrptn but minus issued dw/dj.Though lacking the colour pictorial dw/dj,the white paper-covered boards with bright,crisp, blocked gilt lettering to front+spine/backstrip are remarkably clean and free from grubbing; with negligible shelf-wear,bumping, creasing to extremities and corners - no nicks present - boards clean,solid and sound and immaculate dusky rose/pink background with black silhouette cats+dogs illustrated endpapers.Top+fore-edges with pages edges coloured but clean,without other blemish - however,publisher date to foot of title page ineligible due to some rubbing - but assumed 1972,1st edn; contents bright,crisp,tight and clean,solid and sound - virtually pristine - no dog-ear reading creases to any pages' corners, appears unread,other than my own collation.
