Dustwrapper a touch rubbed and worn to extremities; slight 'nick' to head of spine; age tanning; Newbery Medal sticker to front panel a little picked at 9 o'clock position. Pages a touch age toned otherwise appear clean throughout; edges of page-block tanned and a little spotted. Spine tips pushed and a small patch of browning to the top left hand corner of the back panel otherwise a VG copy in like D/W with NO NEWBERY MEDAL TO THE FRONT COVER thus denoting the First Issue of the D/W. The D/W has no wear, tears or pieces missing but has a touch of creasing at the head and tail of the spine and a couple of brown splashes to the top left hand corner of the back panel.
