From the preface: "The present volume aims to provide a list of books in the British Library printed in France and of French books printed in other countries from 1470 to 1600, acquired since 1924, together with indexes of printers and anonyma not included in the original edition." From the introduction: "The omission of a printer index from the Short-title catalogue of French 15th and 16th century books published in 1924 has long been a matter of regret. ..Other omissions from the 1924 edition were books in Latin and Greek printed in French-speaking Switzerland and an index of anonymous works. These are included in the present volume together with a list of books acquired since 1924, a total of 1470 new entries. The form of entry resembles that in the earlier volume, except that imprints have been given in full. Very Good.
