UK,slim 8vo HB+dw/dj,1st edn.FINE/FINE.No owner inscrptn and no price-clip to dw/dj.Bright,crisp,clean,glossy laminated,wrap-around colour pictorial artwork by Roger Garland,illustrated dw/dj,with red lettering to front and spine; with negligible shelf-wear or creasing to edges and corners - no major nicks or tears present.A couple of small closed tears: front lower corner and front gutter's edge at head of spine/backstrip.To the spine/backstrip of dw/dj, some minor indents without penetration.but leaving some minimal impressions on spine beneath and similarly to front panel and board.A tiny penetrating incision on front board's spine/gutter's edge fold of dw/dj - very lightly impressing the concomitant spot beneath.Top+fore-edges generally bright and clean - free of foxing/spotting; contents bright,tight,clean,solid and sound - virtually pristine - no dog-ear reading creases to any pages' corners,appears unread - apart from my own collation.
