This, the author's first book tells of her meeting with her partner John Underwood when he was in a full body cast in hospital after a horse accident. It tells of her being carried away to a station 600 km southwest of Katherine in the Northern Territory of Australia, where her accommodation was a tent and a newly drilled bore hole.
