San Francisco: Pomegranate, 2009. Book. Fine. Hardcover. First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Hardcover, black blind-stamped cloth lettered in white on spine, in publisher's non price-clipped dust-jacket. 72 pages. With an interview by Annie Nocenti (owner of the Gotham Book Mart and Trustee of the Edward Gorey Charitable Trust). Illustrated by Edward Gorey with 20 costumed characters and "several relevant illustrations from his other books". First edition, first printing with full number line. Posthumously published in hardcover, this screenplay was written before 1973 and originally appeared in Scenario magazine in 1998. A very scarce Gorey item, considering its recent publication and presumably a title lacking from many Gorey collections. No previous ownership marks. A clean, tight, fresh and unmarked copy, like new. Fine in a fine dust-jacket. .
