Chris Claremont is an award-winning comic book writer and novelist, known for his 17-year (1975-1991) stint on Uncanny X-Men, far longer than any other writer, during which he is credited with turning the once underachieving comic into the best-selling superhero franchise in the American comic book industry. Jim Lee is a comic book artist, writer, editor and publisher. He first broke into the industry in 1987 as an artist for Marvel Comics, illustrating titles such as Alpha Flight and Punisher War Journal, before gaining a great deal of popularity on The Uncanny X-Men.
