There is very mild rubbing to the spine-ends, otherwise clean, tight, square, and bright. All tips are sharp. The text is immaculate; no apparent reading wear and no previous ownership markings. The dustjacket, glossy in a new mylar sleeve, has a 1" fully closed tear at the top of the front panel; no chips, soiling, or (other) tears. The original price is intact. An excellent copy of the Irish author's first novel, following a collection of short stories.
