Sandra Feinberg, Director, Middle Country Public Library, Centereach, NY, created the Parent/Child Workshop, a model family support program for public libraries. Barbara Jordan is coordinator of the Suffolk Family Education Clearinghouse, a unique, library-based resource center for professionals working with parents and children. Michele Lauer-Bader, Head of Children's Services, Patchogue-Medford Library, Patchogue, NY, has developed an extensive reference collection that serves patrons and other public libraries in Suffolk County.
