[Biography - Timothy John Greenwood (1947 to 2010; British). An accomplished artist, renowned for his fine copperplate etchings of birds and animals, but perhaps the zenith of his artistic output was a series of 48 watercolour paintings of rare pheasants featured in their natural habitats, several of which have been sold at Christie's. He features in Iain Grahame's Ruffled Feathers, an often humorous account of life at Daws Hall, an international breeding centre for endangered pheasants and waterfowl at which Greenwood was the resident artist; he also illustrated the book.
