The author wrote the story for his two children. It is about Catasauqua's beautiful family of catlings named Cattaraugus and Catiline and their adventures while their mother is trying to teach them about good living, music, books and education. The illustrations are by Charles Blackman, an internationally known artist who now lives in Australia. First edition stated.
