Illustrated title page, being a photograph of Broken Hill in the early 20th century. The text is illustrated with both contemporary and modern black-and-white photographs. Olive coloured boards with white writing on the spine. Rubbing to the head and to the heel of the spine. Rubbing and bumping to the book corners and shelfwear to the lower book edges, and there is a mark to the front board, lower edge. The rear endpaper has been slightly scuffed. Illustrated dust wrapper (wraparound), by Pro Hart, with white coloured titles to the front panel and spine. A little rubbing and scuffing to the top and bottom dust wrapper edges.
