He has written a preface to the book. On the front free endpaper of this copy is Elizabeth Watson's address stamp, ownership initials, and phone number, marking the book as a personal copy. A great find for fans of science; with the help of James Watson's leadership for 35 years (ending in 2007), the private Cold Springs Harbor Lab has distinguished itself as a beacon of research on cancer, neuroscience, plant biology, genomics, and quantitative biology.
