Les Livres de Hogg is a French translation by Robert Marteau of the Hogg Poems and Drawings by Canadian poet Barry Callaghan. Callaghan has been a unique and innovative figure in the Canadian poetry scene, and his Hogg poems are a standout example of his work. John Montague described the work as "...a compost heap of suffering and acceptance for all sad children to play with" and this translation makes this remarkable work available to a wider audience.This volume is in good condition. The text and plates are all present and in excellent condition. The cover has some wear, but most notably has a large section of damage from a previous price sticker on the back cover.
