In 2008 I drove a rental car through BC, some back roads included. Meanwhile, I had bought the book 'Backroads of British Columbia', by Jack and Liz Bryan. And shortly, 2015, I will do about the same as in 2008, now with some more knowledge of the 25 routes which are described in this book. So the book served as one of the preparations for my next holiday. The authors know - I can say by experience, having done some of the stretches - what they are talking about.
