From back: "When Simon tries to catch a salmon he encounters the frustrations of any small boy. Actually, catching a fish is more difficult that it looks, unless you are older... Torn between sympathy for the increasingly panic stricken fish and the desire to catch something of his own, Simon eventually decides to build a channel to the incoming tide and let the fish swim free."
