This was a publishing experiment by Wildcat Press and The Bulletin - suggested by Thomas Keneally - in order to reduce publishing costs and give writers greater exposure. The book was later published in the traditional book form. This book is showing age and where – particularly where the staples are – the front and rear cover are starting to pull away.
