This is the second edition published in 1994 and inscribed to the previous owner by the author, Paul Patterson. The book's foreword and illustrations are by the late Western Fiction Writer, Elmer Kelton. Before becoming one of the best known western fiction writers of all time, Kelton wanted to be a professional artist. Therein lies the significance of this book - It was Kelton's first attempt as a paid illustrator. The foreword and illustrations are Keltons and the story is Pattersons.183 pages. ; 6 in. x 8 1/2 in. .
