Reflections of a Woman: My Memoir of Breast Cancer: Loss, Love and Laughter Tapa blanda - 2008

Lisa Tugnette was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of thirty-six. The lack of material available to help her cope with her illness inspired her to write Reflections of a Woman - My Memoir of Breast Cancer: Loss, Love & Laughter. Lisa devotes a lot time volunteering to give back to her community. As president of Limestone City Toastmasters, she speaks frequently to large crowds about breast cancer, enabling her to raise funds and awareness. A former member of the board and co-facilitator for Breast Cancer Action Kingston, she has written numerous articles on behalf of Breast Cancer Action Kingston and Canadian Breast Cancer Network. She has also appeared on the television show Sexy Girl and since modeled in fundraising fashion shows, and participated in various television interviews for CTV News Ottawa, CTV News Toronto, and CBC News World. She lives in Kingston, Ontario, with her husband and two children.
