Ken Johnson has been helping people realize their job performance potential for over 25 years. Rising through the ranks of a Fortune 500 company, he switched from being a Department Manager to a career in Talent Development in 1989. Ken has been a member of both ASTD since 1989, and ISPI since 1996. Ken completed his Master's degree in ISD from the University of Maryland in 1992. Having survived the cost-cutting initiative of disbanding his first company's Training Department, Ken learned the real-world lesson that employee development must show it's clear tie to bottom-line results if it is to survive in the boardroom. Today Ken is a Global Talent Development Director, working with people in over 20 different countries around the world. He finds it reassuring to know that people everywhere have the same goals and dreams for themselves and their families, and it's rewarding to help them succeed in business as a means to those ends.
