Advice of Counsel Tapa blanda - 2012

It feels funny writing a bio, because it makes you sit down and figure out who you are and how you define yourself. First and foremost, I am lucky enough to be a wife and mom who is blessed with a wonderful family. I work as a paralegal in Labor & Employment Law, which I suppose is where the inspiration for this novel came from. Somewhere along the way, I became entrenched in local politics, over, of all things, whitetail deer, which somehow morphed into an extensive commitment to animal welfare efforts in my community. I've been labeled an animal activist and a community activist more than once, and I wear those badges proudly, knowing that it was the activists of this world that gained women the right to vote. I am a Texan, and a Longhorn, at that. I like to garden and I like to write. And now, I can proudly say that I'm a published author. I hope you enjoy Advice of Counsel.
