Acerca del autor

Thomas V. Moore has had a life-long interest in physics and cosmology. To satisfy his interest, he has had to rely on popular explanations, due to his rudimentary mathematical ability. Over the years, he became discontented with many of the features of standard cosmological models that seemed to be implied by purely mathematical analysis. Being thus excluded from inside-the-box methodology, he was forced outside the box, and began to ponder explanations of a more simple and direct nature. Invoking a third type of universal state in the form of Black Matter seemed to provide answers to many questions, while leaving the bulk of work in the field entirely intact. This work has been done by scholars who are made of ordinary matter, and pertains exclusively to ordinary matter and energy. Their work has been brilliant and valid. Black Marble Theory merely provides a framework that encompasses this work, and addresses many of its most persistent mysteries. Mr. Moore enjoyed a long career with IBM, working with early big box computers, and eventually doing pioneering work in the field of interactive media. He authored the book Managing Interactive Video Projects with his colleague Dr. R. E. Bergman. Thomas is retired, and lives with his wife Judy in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Descripción:
2014 black softcover in very good condition; some wear to covers, no marks inside. US media mail only for shipping. lack Marbles presents a simple theory that can be easily grasped in an hour of easy reading, and provides plausible explanations of the most profound questions that physicists are seeking today. · What is dark matter and how does it hold the galaxies together? · What is dark energy, and why does it make the universe expand faster and faster? · Whats a black hole, and what happens inside it? · Why does gravity seem to be different than the other forces that affect ordinary matter? The answers to these questions may be easier to answer than many modern physicists have made them. They could be based on obvious conclusions that come from observation of the wonderful cosmic images provided by our astronomers and their advanced telescopes. Our universe may be beautiful and exciting, but also easily understood.
