Stephan M. Silverman, Ph.D., is former Director of Assessment and Behavioral Services for the Weinfeld Education Group. He was a school psychologist in the Montgomery County Public Schools system in Maryland for 30 years and has maintained a private practice in Maryland since 1975.

Katherine C. Holman, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, is assistant professor in the Department of Special Education at Towson University and a certified speech-language pathologist. She is the director of the Teacher as Leader in Autism Spectrum Disorder master's program and is a regional autism consultant to the public school system. The focus of her clinical and research work has been on developing effective interventions to improve social connections and communication in young children with autism and strategies for empowering families. She presents nationally and leads seminars for professionals and families on instructional programming to promote successful educational outcomes for individuals with ASD. She has dedicated her life's work to creating a positive influence for and understanding of life on the autism spectrum.
