Today, we can sound like conservativesand act like conservatives and still winelections. Those who say we can t don tsee what I see in Wisconsin and whatmy fellow governors in states all acrossAmerica see. We don t need to change ourprinciples. What we need is more courage.

In 2011, Wisconsin governor Scott Walker schances of staying in office looked bleak. Angryprotesters furious about his collective bargainingproposal swarmed Madison, camped inthe capitol, and attempted to block the passageof the governor s reform legislation.
