Dubbed The Shakespeare of Architects by Sir John Soane, Vanbrugh designed the Castle Howard and Blenheim Palace two of the great iconic houses of their age as well as a number of astounding country estates such as Seaton Delaval Hall and Grimsthorpe Castle.
