Hardback. very good/near fine. The ultimate resource for dating and understanding antique silver thimbles! More information per square inch than any other book on the subject -- if it doesn't tell you, you don't need to know it! The top and bottom edges of the book have light spots, I don't know what caused them but they are pictured very dramatically in the photos but are not very noticeable ordinarily.
